Privacy policy

2. Scope

This policy describes how personal data of yakobsonv.com visitors is processed in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” (27 July 2006) and the safeguards applied.

3. Data we process

The Controller processes data the user voluntarily submits through the site forms, email or Telegram:

  • name (if provided);
  • contact details (email, Telegram, phone — at the user's choice);
  • URL of the site submitted for review;
  • free-text message body.

Anonymous technical data is also collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referrer — for analytics and security.

4. Purposes

  • responding to user requests;
  • concluding and performing service contracts;
  • keeping the user informed about project stages and outcomes;
  • traffic statistics and site improvement.

5. Legal basis

  • user consent (Art. 6 § 1 cl. 1 of 152-FZ), confirmed by submitting data through the site;
  • performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party (Art. 6 § 1 cl. 5);
  • compliance with Russian law.

6. Retention

Data is retained until the processing purpose is achieved or consent is withdrawn, but not longer than required by Russian law (typically 5 years for primary accounting records and contractual correspondence).

7. Disclosure to third parties

The Controller does not transfer personal data to third parties except where explicitly required by Russian law. Data is not transferred outside the Russian Federation.

8. Safeguards

The Controller applies organisational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorised access, modification or destruction: TLS encryption (HTTPS), access controls, regular backups, role separation.

9. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (language preference, CSRF protection) are required to run the site and are always set. Analytics cookies from Yandex.Metrica are set only after your explicit consent — via a banner with equal “Accept” and “Reject” buttons; analytics does not run before consent. Metrica collects anonymised behavioural data (pages visited, referrer, device and browser type); no personal data is shared with it and processing takes place on servers in Russia. Your choice is saved and can be withdrawn at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or your browser settings. No third-party advertising cookies are used; external services (PageSpeed Insights) are called only on explicit user action.

10. Data subject rights

The user has the right to:

  • request information about the data being processed and its sources;
  • request correction, blocking or deletion of the data;
  • withdraw consent;
  • complain to Roskomnadzor (Russian data protection authority).

All requests should be sent to yakobsonv@icloud.com. Reply within 30 days.

11. Amendments

The Controller may amend this policy. The current version is always available at yakobsonv.com/en/privacy. The effective date is shown at the top.
